SERIES: MEETINGS
One summer, not too long ago, I found myself in my garden with canvases, paints, water in a baisin, old towels, and suddenly I was dancing in vibrant colours. One set was done in black, dark-brown, yellow ochre and white. The original intention was that these would serve as a background for Zentangle-inspired pieces, but as I perused the canvases I found I could not for the life of me touch or disturb them. The more I perused, the stronger became my conviction that they were complete. These paintings were presented at the exhibition in Cannes in 2018.
